About Albiston's Law

Albiston's Law is a civic campaign calling for a new law that protects every person's right to live in peace at home. It is not party-political and is not affiliated with any government body, council, housing association or police force.

The campaign was founded by Ben Albiston after years of persistent noise, nuisance and boundary interference went unaddressed by every authority tasked with helping. The story told on this site is a factual account of real events, fully anonymised: no names, addresses, property numbers or organisations are identified.

The campaign asks for one thing: your signature on the official UK Parliament petition. This site links you straight to it, and lets you leave an anonymous tick to show you have signed. It also provides an example letter you can adapt and send to the Prime Minister.

This site collects no personal data from anyone. No names, no emails, no sign-ups — the only thing recorded is an anonymous count of ticks.

Albiston's Law is aimed at adults: the adults who cause repeated disturbance, the adults who condone it, and the adults who fail to manage those in their charge. It is not an attack on children, on family life, or on the reasonable sounds of everyday living.
