1. Who we are

Albiston's Law ("the campaign", "we", "us") is a civic campaign founded by Ben Albiston and run through albistonslaw.com. By using this website you accept these terms.

2. Purpose of this site

This site exists to inform the public about the campaign, to link to the official UK Parliament petition, and to provide an example letter you can adapt and send to the Prime Minister. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice.

3. The "I have signed" tick

The tick on this site is an anonymous, self-reported show of support. It is not the petition itself — only a signature on petition.parliament.uk counts towards the official petition. Please only tick if you have genuinely signed. One tick per person; you can remove your tick if you tapped it by accident. The tick count is displayed in good faith and is not a verified figure.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse this site: no automated ticking, no attempts to breach security, and no use of the site for anything unlawful.

5. Content and accuracy

The case study on this site is a factual account of real events, anonymised to protect everyone involved. Figures shown as "live" are drawn from campaign records and updated regularly, but are provided in good faith without warranty. External links (including petition.parliament.uk, nightmareneighbours.com and benalbiston.com) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for external content.

6. Liability

This site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from use of this site, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
